The Brilliance of Simply Getting Started
Here's a favorite quote from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe:

"Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now."

You have a dream. Unfortunately, most people are willing to let their dreams simply remain dreams.

They cherish them. They spend as much time with them as they possibly can. But they never let them lose into the world outside their heads.

It's like we're afraid that if we let them go outside their carefully confined captivity, they'll run off and be lost to us forever. They don't have to remain dreams, though. You can make your dream reality.

Goethe reminds us in today's success quote what has to be to make that happen. Do it.

Let that dream out into the real world. Will it run away from you? Not if you train it properly.

Take the dream and train it to go in the direction you want it to go. Take action. Even if your dream doesn't grow immediately into what you envisioned, you're still much closer to that full-grown vision of what you want it to be.

Even if you have to step back once and a while and try new ways to move forward, you're still closer to where you want to be than if you simply leave your dream curled up safely inside your mind.

As Goethe says, "Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now."

Don't delay in putting off your dreams. Don't delay in getting started. Even if you don't get their right away, you will be moving every closer to it.
