Never Enough Time
Plans I made for what I would accomplish before heading out tomorrow (I'll tell more about that tomorrow before I leave) have fallen far short. I didn't get nearly as far along as I had hoped in a number of tasks. And a couple of opportunities that have arisen in the last couple of days have gotten me pondering whether they would fit into my plans.
But that all underscores the reality that we can't accomplish all we would like. We have limited resources and limited time and we have to do the best we can with what we have. That isn't a negative, just a challenge. And it's the way that we deal with the challenges we face that measure us.
We can't beat ourselves up for not being able to do absolutely everything that we would like. But we can grow from the process of making hard choices and then putting the things we discard behind us instead of dwelling on them.
